Racine advises Weinberg Capital Partners on majority investment in Cosmogen

Paris, 13 January 2025 – Racine has advised Weinberg Capital Partners, a prestigious independent investment firm, on its acquisition of a majority stake in Cosmogen, the world expert in innovative, patented and responsible solutions for the application of cosmetic and pharmaceutical products. This transaction allows Weinberg Capital Partners and its LBO fund WCP#4, supported by WCP Co-Invest and BNP Paribas Développement, to consolidate its presence in the beauty sector.
Cosmogen, a mission-driven company led by Priscille Allais, is the global expert in innovative, patented and responsible application solutions for cosmetic and pharmaceutical brands. Working with prestigious clients in the beauty sector, including major international brands such as L’Oréal, Clarins, Caudalie and Dior, as well as fast-growing niche brands, the company has a strong commitment to ESG issues, as demonstrated by its latest innovations, which are 100% eco-designed and can be dismantled to facilitate the recovery of products at the end of their life. Its employees are based in Paris, Asia, the United States and Brazil.
This majority investment by Weinberg Capital Partners is the third transaction for the WCP#4 LBO fund and brings together all the criteria sought by the fund: a B2B services company in a sector where Weinberg Capital Partners has extensive expertise, a mature ESG approach and a model based on customer satisfaction. The LBO team, which has completed more than 100 external growth transactions for its portfolio companies, will support Cosmogen as it consolidates its sector in France and internationally.
