Racine Lyon appoints two partners

Lyon, 25 February 2025 – Racine Lyon has had two new partners since 1st January. Fanny Biesuz and Lise-Marie Faras have joined the firm’s teams specialising in business law and public business law. These appointments bring the number of partners at Racine Lyon to five.
Racine Lyon strengthens its business law expertise with the arrival of Fanny Biesuz as a partner. A member of the Lyon Bar since 2012, Ms Biesuz first worked in two Lyon business law firms, where she developed a solid expertise in business litigation and distressed corporate law/restructuring. Driven by the desire to provide personalised and multidisciplinary support to companies facing complex situations, she then set up her own firm and became its managing partner.
At the head of her independent organisation since 2017, Fanny Biesuz has assisted numerous economic players, from very small companies to large groups, providing solutions for the company and its managers. Her pragmatic approach and her strong commitment to companies in difficult situations have enabled her to establish herself as an expert in supporting organisations in transition or in difficulty.
Lise-Marie Faras has been appointed a partner at Racine Lyon. Ms Faras, who holds a degree in public economic law from the University of Lyon III, was sworn in at the Lyon Bar in 2009. Lise-Marie Faras began her career as an associate lawyer in three Lyon law firms between 2009 and 2017, before joining the Bouygues Group as a corporate lawyer, first in the legal department of Bouygues Bâtiment Sud-Est, a subsidiary of Bouygues Construction, and then in the national facilities management division of Equans. With this dual experience as a lawyer and as a company lawyer, Lise-Marie Faras has extensive expertise in public commercial law and, more generally, in the contractual “ecosystem” of construction and maintenance.
With these two high-profile appointments, Racine Lyon is strengthening its presence in the city of Lyon, a region characterised by its economic dynamism. The firm has a highly qualified team of five partners and eleven associates, who have been working in the office since 2011.
Anthony Bichelonne, partner at Racine Lyon, said: “The partners at Racine Lyon are delighted to welcome Fanny Biesuz and Lise-Marie Faras to the firm. Their expertise will strengthen our corporate and public law practices and reinforce our commitment to providing the highest level of service to our clients. “.
