Racine supports the association Lire pour en Sortir

Racine supports the association LIRE POUR EN SORTIR dedicated to the reintegration of prisoners through reading.

Created in 2014, the association contributed through its founding president Alexandre Duval-Stalla to the amendment of the code of criminal procedure. It now recognises that the practice of cultural activities, including reading, is eligible for reduced or modified sentences.

Today, the association counts :

1 team of 5 employees,
160 volunteers,
More than 100 volunteer writers working in detention,
More than 20 prisons in France and Reunion Island benefiting from this program
23 independent bookshops and partner publishing houses

Racine and his team are happy to support and share the cause of this beautiful association.
